does anyone realise how fast our lives seem to be zooming past our faces? it's crazy dont you think? i get the nagging feeling that the world's speed is moving much faster than how we wish it could be, or would be.

most of my jc girlfriends are settling uni stuff, entering a new phase so soon. i'll soon be entertained with dorm stories by them too. one has even sent in her essay to enter some nus student exchange programme - goodness she hasnt even started her 1st week at uni la!

almost all of the
green muddy guys i know are already out of that funny duddy island - and i was just sending timothy off just 2 months ago. these muddy kids have got their postings and their gonna start service again next week.

my oldest nephew, timothy, has turned 4 today (you wont read this you little nasty bullying-your-aunt, but ahyee loves you always *] ) - ive been an aunt to him for 4 bloomin years! all the bathing, hair-tugging, ticklespurts and playful 'dont-friend-yous' and more to come *gasp im old haha i was trying hard to find a good interactive child's book yesterday at times for this little loveable bugger. there were so many interesting books that i think some authors during OUR toddler ages must have lacked their creative juices. my sister knows when i buy presents for her kids, theyre always usually useful interactive books - not just plastic fourwheelers, airplanes or whatnots:) i just got my youngest, joshua, a soft bath book for his 1st bday (you chubby cheerful thing, you wont read this either but ahyee loves u to bits too! *]) im gonna be nice today, here's the two little bouncy energetic smallthings:

the birthday boy, timothy tan with his younger brother on the left, joshua tan. cute right, but looks can be so so so deceiving. haha but still loveable to the core:)

my gosh. see what kids do to a 19-year-old like me, i get squealy and high-pitched. dont snigger and laugh all of you, yes you you two-eyed-clicking-scrolling monster, i'll see how you can still act real macho when you have kids and not soften when they cry. some kids have that power even a king with the worthiest crown and largest army, will not have.

oh on that note, thanks bigthing, for the patience you exhibit (very very rare too haha) when im trying hard to find their presents, that you even sit at a corner to read some children's greek mythical/legendary creatures book. love has its ways *wink;)

well, im reaching that big 20 early next year, fast isnt it, that im about to finish almost a quarter of my life. and im gonna finish my 1st semester at np mass comm in a few months, scary. planning for orientation, tiring myself crazy at camps, rushing to finish tutorials and mugging in the school canteen doesnt seem so far away but yet it is. in some faraway country, girls my age are probably pregnant with their 3rd kid, tending housework, worrying about their children's school fees or some forced to work as the breadwinner of their own 10-man families. thats scarier.

the world's really spinning pretty fast in His hands huh. here we are not sure of what tomorrow will be like, but it has already been written down, pondered upon and sealed in a little envelope with our names written in the front, hanging up on His huuuge already-filled noticeboard. maybe He even has a lever to control the speed our lives are moving. that's being God for you :) well, thank YOU, up there, for drawing up the life im living so far. i have to admit, some of those periods You added in, really really gave me a sucky time but yes yes i know, it's all part of The Plan, thank You anyway ;)

oh ya. for those of you who seem to keep MISSING out on the small print at the end of the previous entry: for the last time, it was an ANALOGY. NOT REAL (not really that is). NO there's no shotgun marriage. NO i havent picked out my wedding dress(es) or my floral arrangements. NO im not getting married. NO im not pressurizing him to get down that aisle. NO im not pregnant. NO timothy didnt do anything of that sort, or i dont think so at least ;)

p/s:this is an unbelievably random entry again. maybe im just distracting myself from studying Media in Society and Marketing module notes for my common tests next week. oops, old habits are hard to kill. still trying, still trying :)
