yups yups as the title suggests, i'm gonna do a short
quickie since the next few weeks, my academic lifestyle is going to be in a whirlwind in a nano. oh oh i know this is a tad late, but happy new year anyway :) -phew, it's been one week and we've survived it so far. there's still 51 more weeks to go and a whole lot of topsy turveys to go thru.
funny how to year comes in really loud, proclaiming its presence, being arrogant and aggressive by stamping on your old year and forcing you to be with the New him. he doesnt care if you like him, he doesnt care if youre ready for that relationship. he doesnt care if you have recovered from the hangover of christmas AND new year's OR the breakup with the Last. he doesnt even care if you have new underwear to change into. he doesnt wait for any men women tide or sunshine. my goodness, what an ass.
admittedly, i havent even really accepted him into my veins. still writing my dates with the Last, thinking im turning 20 only next year, mentioning that i was at Yunnan 2 years ago when it is already 3. he has come, banged (ok, conventionally, the other way round ;] ) and left me still gathering what really has happened. but you see, we just have to move along. the escalator that he has put us on is not really gonna stop. well, both he and He, put us on that escalator. where we have to change, eat, live and what not on it without it stopping. you do know the he and He are two different 'people' im referring to right? oh well, nevermind if you don't.
well, like every other year, we try to leave the past where it is. great memories would remain rather shiny and glad while the darker regrettable ones are the dull but still visible ones too. but you see, manyatimes, the grey ones are the ones that nudges you forward and pushes you on. it can make us cry, shrug or sigh at its reminiscence, but they are the ones that kinda subtly tell us that life goes on.
on a random note, it's really hard to imagine im turning 20 leh. oh my. im done with almost close to a quarter of my life. that's quite a swift. anyway, as i mentioned before, this entry is suppose to be quick cos the poly semester for me is ending and since ive got no exams this semester, ive got a HUGE PILE of assignments and projectwork to organise and make them work for me. there's about a month left and goodness, there's close to 10 major final assignments on fire. what an exciting note to start my year with, dont you think :)
for the minimal people that turn up here, good luck and great wishes for the year. hope you'd get to tame him the way you want him to be to suit your goals ;)
