this is the fourth post for the month of december so far - which only shows there's some change in my life. yep, the 2-week break at the end of the year is here. but you see, technically, it isnt a break - projects, assignments, presentations or interviews still have to be prepped - maybe the only thing is that we dont have formal classes for 2 weeks.
other than that, life's pretty much the same, busy. sounds like a change huh.
somehow the end twilight of each year brings has this closure feeling. as though you know the finale of the play is about to be presented. almost like dessert being served. do you get that?
maybe it's the christmas lights, the cold and rainy weather that singapore gets during this time, the many many people taking vacation leave, the noisy children running around since they are on holiday.
while some people look forward to the end of the year and the beginning of a new year, some probably get frantic and anxious over that very fear - maybe due to outstanding thingstodobutnotdone.
generally, i think the end of the year's a pretty nice time, accompanied by usually a nice feeling, don't you think so?
well, for some reason, today has been a rather good day. thanks to the
very special person, who is now free (and i mean,
absolutely free. nothing to do. totally. can stone, can laze, can pig out, can basically everything work-less) til jan 2. though the envy of his newfound time creeps under my skin, thanks for today & its funny fiddle twiddle dums ;)
