i just finished one entry for the
Hong Kong blog and thought I shouldnt abandon the original :)
it's the last few days of the nearing Chinese New Year and really, it's my first time away from home. while it feels very very strange and odd not to be as busy like the
usual and soaking up the
atmosphere, it's moments like this when you just miss the familiar moments at home. things your life, body and mind are so used to. sure things may change over the years and for some, you have to admit, that there are some obligatory moments - but i like to see it positively :)
my trip to Hong Kong is actually coming to an end, just two days of working days and just slightly more than a week before i fly back.
it's hard not to learn anything away. it's like putting myself in a new environment, a new place (albeit temporary) to sharpen instincts, learn more about others and around you, taking a step back to see what you have and hoping to see a clearer path you'd want to walk down.
five months is a long time, and i'm glad it happened (or rather, is still happening).
i can feel it. but it's going to be time for me to start thinging of what happens next. -cringe-
anyhow, this blog has seen through like four years of this:
happy chinese new year all :) Singapore should just have three-day CNY holidays like here.
