the feeling of 'what ifs' is quite annoying.
it ponders on your mind, leaves you wondering, thinking and constantly reminding.
weaved nicely into your thoughts, the 'what ifs' pick up a paintbrush and paint the many scenes in your head with that one brushstroke that doesnt seem to pause.
with a smile on your face, you step back to look at the painting, and you are delighted with the colours, the texture, the vivid imagination that comes out looking so real.
but in a while, you sigh.
because ultimately, the whole painting only exists as a 'what if'.
the painting also doesnt take into account a whole lot of things, because they are 'withouts'. you pick what you want to see, you put aside the others you dont want to dirty the painting with.
then you pick up that pretty little picture and place it in a drawer, for safe keeping. cos you really wouldnt want to let the image slip away, but yet you don't want to be reminded of its ephemerality.
