omg, this is exactly like last Sunday: already Sunday night! :( this dejavu thing isn't a good dejavu feeling. at all.
owing a few things for certain people since a long time ago (really patient people but i really ought not to test their niceness :( sorry.), owing patient web designer his payment, owing myself readings i should be clearing, owing myself the time and effort to actually start working towards some assignments, owing baby david his magnet to join his parents' christmas version, owing too many things.
and i HATE owing or holding people up.

i have to say that it's a different feeling with feb 14 coming along :) i mean, past few feb 14s have their meanings, their happy moments with the regular rightful people, last feb 14 was chinese new year when well, chinese traditions and obligations took precedence over the special (sadly, commercialised too) day.
this year? it's a little tingling feeling of uncertainty, a little freedom, ease from expectations (mine and of any other) and it's rather refreshing :)
i really would be very uncomfortable, or actually detest, the idea of celebrating feb 14 with someone just for the sake of celebrating it.
they always say that everyday can be valentine's day and it shouldn't be the only day to show your partner or whoever you love, how much you really do too.
well think about it, if there wasn't a day for valentine's, who would really say that?
of course there are lovely, sweet, ever endearing ones who would really shower and show their love in many ways, on various occasions (formally or not), or the best of all, for just no reason at all. for the rest?
for all you know, valentine's is around to remind everyone to do just that: loving someone everyday and more importantly, making sure that special someone knows :) or even multiple someones!
or pay the (very hefty) price of commercialised february 14 ;) ok i'm kidding.
