okay quick one! i ought to take a quick shower and get back to lecture notes but figured that if i don't do this soon, it'll be over in no time! and i've to take the time to be glad these help to tide things over heh :) every semester, my lecture notes get condensed into these:
this semester's Ritual, Performance and Symbolic Interaction
usually done for all my Sociology modules, i've to try to squeeze the main points and the corresponding authors of the readings (highlighted in pink) of one lecture into one post-it. and every semester i hope and i wish that the lecturer doesn't end up with 13 weeks; cos it'll just be a headache for me to figure out where on earth to put the last one on an A4 sized paper.
and every semester exams prep, i always am amazed how we're expected to remember like 30-40 over authors' names (spelling) and concept (with their argument) for each module. quite madness i have to say, for one who has an almost goldfish-like memory and the itchy fingers of writing 'conservation' every time she intends to write 'conversation'. i should be glad i remember a decent amount (i hope).
somehow every exam period, the whole school goes into a slow mo. of course some others like super mugging SMU, they already have to be pushed to be from the early of their semester. it really kinda kicks in in NUS maybe one week before Reading Week. 24-hour running of libraries, study rooms, Starbucks, some cafes, etc. and along with that, more civil interaction of sharing power sockets.
among other things are the niceties of friends :) of course there's daryl who'd help to book a few tables (sometimes, discretely; other times, no) for whoever that might turn up at the Study Room since it gets filled up quite a bit. and at the same time, i'd pop by upstairs to say HELLO! to the people in the Secretariat; disrupt their studying for a bit and then come back down :)

i didn't manage to capture the OK Tea, but a sweet delivery from kettle after one of his papers (of course he also bought his pudding version for himself!). was a little craving satisfied along with the staircase sightseeing :)
i can find this a little sweet but if i do, i so prefer the tiny one. yay!
how can anyone eat the hugeass regular size and not feel like you've got diabetes.
the ever so nice and helpful and really good hearted weiyuan! heh, he is like doramon, always fishing out something to munch on from his bag!
she's the one who got the genetic smart genes! and didn't share!
my dearest sister, who as practical as she is and always can be, doesn't bother to wish me good luck before her family holiday. she just TELLS me to do well.

it's not even properly conventional.
ah ha, this also came as a surprise in the mail! i was wondering what on earth did i buy (to my mother's fretting that i'm buying too many - which really isn't true - online purchases) now. bri! won't need to actively go scout out for one this year :)
he didn't even take up the offer to share, cos he said he has other super powers to rely on!
haha among many wishes from like joanna, kg, z, shan, derrick, feli and many many lovely ones who wished along the way and shared their luck in and between, wei jian's one really tickled. hehe!
who would have thought that just dipping sticks into tasty things would be a hit.

ohhh this was a nice one to share which z and daryl benefited as public good. a little surprise from pretty pretty ivie! :)
this new one even had a bus shelter advertisement if i'm not wrong.
has a strong scent but light taste of honey, which really is quite yummy!
aww, this was delivered by yangs! who actually on another occasion, popped by just to give me a nice little hug accompanied with a yummy subway cookie! :)
this is just some of the lovely lovely people who make the exam period just so much more bearable :) social solidarity during such time! okay, other than the fact that some like kettle, finish his papers early, take the chance to laugh out loud and toyed over the thought of even vacationing and returning before my papers end. such bully! haha :(

p.s. i'm too happy-sounding in this post. it's not all that reflective by the way; it's exams! how can anyone be?! geez.
